CODE GREEN: Making Older Buildings Energy Efficient
Preservation League, NYSERDA Plan Workshops for 2011 >

ALBANY, NY (01/03/2011)(readMedia)-- The Preservation League of New York State recently entered into a partnership with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) to provide workshops throughout New York State that will address code compliance and energy conservation in existing and historic structures.

Preservation League Presents Preserve New York Grant >

The Preservation League of New York State will present a $5,000 grant to the Oakwood Cemetery Association on Wednesday, January 5 at 3:30 p.m. at the HSBC Meeting Room at the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, 10th and Ferry Streets, Niagara Falls. The grant will support the cost of completing a historic landscape report for the Oakwood Cemetery located north of the city center.

Preservation League Presents Preserve New York Grant >

The Preservation League of New York State will present a $9,000 grant to the Jewish Federation of Ulster County on Monday, January 10 at 1:00 p.m. during a forum titled “Saving a Building – Building a Community” at the Arts Society of Kingston (ASK) at 97 Broadway. The grant will support the preparation of a Historic Structure Report for the nearby Reher Bakery at 101 Broadway.

Preservation League Presents Preserve New York Grant >

The Preservation League of New York State will present a $3,269 grant to the Village of Watkins Glen on Thursday, January 13 at 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel, 2 N. Franklin Street, Watkins Glen. The grant will support the cost of completing a nomination to the State and National Registers of Historic Places for downtown Watkins Glen.
