The Great American Station Foundation

A nationally-competitive grant program is available to organizations and municipalities that are sponsoring a specific station revitalization project. Eligible stations include stations within the United States that are served by Amtrak, commuter rail, other urban rail transit, or serve as an intermodal terminal for other transportation services. Stations not currently served by rail for which rail service is planned may also be eligible.
The Station Foundation does not provide funding for the conversion of stations to non-transportation purposes.

A downloadable application form is available each year beginning in late January at www.stationfoundation.org or contact the Great American Station Foundation, Union Station, 4th Floor East, 60 Massachusetts Ave NE, Washington DC 20002 at 202-906-4195. Completed applications are due mid-April and the results are announced in mid-June.
