If you do, please take one minute to support New York’s Environmental Protection Fund (EPF) and what we love most about New York: our clean air and water, protected parklands and working farms, and good quality jobs.
The EPF also funds the Historic Preservation and Heritage Area Grant Programs administered by the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, and is the only source of state funding for preservation capital projects undertaken by not-for-profits and municipalities.
New Assembly Environmental Conservation Committee Chair Steven Englebright has drafted a letter to Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie requesting that funding for the Environmental Protection Fund be increased to $200 million. We need your immediate help to secure your Assemblymember’s signature on this letter to Speaker Heastie by this Friday!
Please ask your Assemblymember to sign on to Chairman Englebright’s letter to increase funding for the Environmental Protection Fund! With a new Speaker leading the Assembly and a new Chairman leading the Environmental Conservation Committee, a strong response to support this letter will show that we love New York, and we love the EPF!
