Owego - Preservation Outreach Info Session

Southern Tier homeowners, commercial property owners, realtors, contractors, and community leaders are invited to attend a meeting to find out how preservation plays a key role in economic development, job creation, community revitalization and smart, sustainable growth.
The presentation will discuss the benefits of historic preservation with a focus on community revitalization through use of historic preservation incentives. The Preservation League will provide information on National Register and certified local historic districts. It will also cover programs and services available through the League and other partners.
The Preservation League of New York State will offer a presentation on Tuesday, October 30th, from 10:00 a.m.-noon at the Tioga County Historical Society, 110 Front Street, Owego. The workshop is co-sponsored by the Village of Owego, Preservation Association of the Southern Tier, and Owego Historic Property Owners Association with refreshments provided by Carol’s Coffee.
The cost of the presentation will be $10 in order to help offset some of the costs incurred by The League of providing this information session.
