Riverhead, NY- Free Presentation for League Grants- 1/31
The Preservation League will present information on our grant programs at the Robert David Lion Gardner Foundations annual grant workshop. Come learn about the Preserve New York and Technical Assistance Grants (TAG), the signature grant programs of the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) and the Preservation League.
The workshop will take place on Thursday, January 31st, from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the Suffolk County Historical Society, located at 300 West Main Street, Riverhead, NY 11901.
Presenters include the Robert David Lion Gardiner Foundation, the Sacred Sites Program of the New York Landmarks Conservancy, the Greater Hudson Heritage Network and the Preservation League of NYS. The League’s Manager of Technical & Grant Programs, Frances Gubler, will explain the requirements of the grants, the process of applying, and discuss some successful previous applicants.
The Preserve New York and the Technical Assistance Grant (TAG) programs are a partnership between the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) and the Preservation League of New York State. These grant programs are made possible with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature. Generous additional support for Preserve New York has been provided by The Robert David Lion Gardiner Foundation for projects in Nassau and Suffolk counties.
