Cultural Resource Surveys and National Register designation are integral parts of preservation planning for communities. This panel will discuss how preservationists can work with artists to make this kind of planning work more impactful. Panelists will share examples of artist-led engagement initiatives, art in historic districts, and ideas for how artists can spearhead community engagement activities to help drive preservation survey work forward.
