Giving Through Your IRA

Donate a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) Through Your IRA: A great way to support the League is by making an IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution. Click here to find out how; and click here for a sample Distribution Request Letter.

Gift your IRA or Other Retirement Benefits: You may name The Preservation League of NYS as a beneficiary of your IRA or other qualified retirement benefits. Consult your tax advisor regarding the benefits of such gifts.

Planned Giving

Remember the League in Your Will: Whether you’re 18 or 80, a bequest is one of the easiest gifts to make. We’re happy to provide Sample Bequest Language. Please contact us to ensure we understand how you would like your bequest to be used when it arrives, and so we can say “thank you!” bgramkow@preservenys.org or 518.653.7571

What your support makes possible: The Hudson-Athens Lighthouse was included on the League’s 2020-2021 Seven to Save list. Since then, the League has provided grant funding, technical services, and publicity to help preserve this icon of the Hudson River.
