Spotlighting the Threatened historic structures around New York

Working in conjunction with local stakeholders, the League has been able to avert demolition, develop plans for reuse, secure landmark designation, and foster greater public awareness of the value of New York’s unique and irreplaceable historic resources.

Originally, Seven to Save designees were announced at the end of each year. In order to re-align the announcement of the list with the calendar year during which the staff would address the issues, the League moved what would have been the listings for the end of 2004 forward to January, 2005. Therefore, there is no 2004 list. In 2010, the League moved to a biennial listing.
