Last month we put out a call for the Great Preservation Holiday Bake-Off to see some homemade treats inspired by historic New York buildings. We are very pleased to share the winning entry from Pooky Amsterdam — her Crown of New York City!

League staff unanimously selected this entry and we hope you enjoy it too. Now Pooky’s cookie crown will go head-to-head with other winning bakes from our NYC colleagues.

The panel of experts who will make the final decision include baker Fany Gerson, Eric Haugen, chef at the Lambs Club, and architects Liz Diller and Pamela Jerome.

We will announce the overall winner on December 16. Stay tuned to find out which building baker will come out on top!
