National Alliance of Preservation Commissions CAMP Training

Details and event registration.

The Preservation League is pleased to partner with the National Alliance of Preservation Commissions (NAPC) to bring their CAMP training to New York State virtually! Join us for this two-part session on March 29 and March 31 each day from 1-4:30 p.m. This program is possible thanks to support from the Peggy N. and Roger G. Gerry Charitable Trust. Thank you!

This event will be offered live and on-demand. We strongly encourage you to join the live presentations to get the most out of your experience and have the opportunity to interact with the trainers during the Q&A and with other attendees. However, you will also have the option to access the recorded version of this program for 60 days, to watch as your schedule allows.

We are pleased to offer AIA, AICP, and HSW credits at all programs in this series.
AIA credits offered: 6 LU and 5 HSW (1LU/HSW credit each- with the exception of Meeting Procedures, which is LU only).
AICP credits: 6 CM credits, 1 Legal credit and 1 Ethics credit.

CAMP training will feature high-quality, engaging, and informative presentations and Q&A from professional NAPC Trainers. Topics to be covered include:

  • Legal Basics

  • Standards and Guidelines

  • Meeting Procedures/Role of the Commissioner

  • Infill

  • Substitute Materials

  • Mid-Century Resources
