Small Grants for arts & culture preservation projects

Grants of up to $4,000, with a required 20% match from each applicant, are available to nonprofit groups and municipalities that manage historic sites, museums, arts facilities, and other important institutions that serve an arts or cultural purpose and are open to the public. It is a signature grant program of the New York State Council on the Arts and the Preservation League of New York State, made possible with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature. The Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area has provided generous additional support for Technical Assistance Grant projects in the Heritage Area.
